Some seasons do not announce themselves, they simply begin.
Welcome to Between Breath and Becoming.
I am a mother of four, a wife, a pediatric physical therapist, a student of Chinese medicine, and a person still learning how to hold all of it with honesty. This space is not here to package my life into neat lessons. It is here to name what is real, to notice what is changing, and to make room for the quiet work that happens between milestones.
I have spent years helping children and families move through hard things with steadiness. That work has shaped me, but it is not the only thing that has. Motherhood has shaped me. Marriage has shaped me. Faith has shaped me. The constant practice of returning to my body, my breath, my values, and my home has shaped me.
I am writing because I want a place where integration is not a buzzword. It is a lived process. Where growth is not performative. Where we can tell the truth about responsibility, love, exhaustion, devotion, and the invisible labor it takes to keep becoming.
This is the space I have been needing. A quieter place to write with more depth than social platforms allow. A place to gather people who are also living in the overlap of roles, building lives that require them to show up in many directions at once, and still wanting to stay connected to what is true.
What kind of community this will be
I want this to feel like a quiet room you can step into. Grounded, honest, spacious.
This is for readers who want substance without noise. People who are navigating caregiving, work, faith, identity, and change. People who are not looking for polished answers, but who value thoughtful reflection and real language for real life.
I will publish one main post weekly or bi-weekly, most often on Sunday evenings. Sometimes I will share a shorter note midweek when something feels worth naming.
You may find reflections from the intersection of caregiving and clinical work, stories about embodiment, identity, and returning to what matters, notes from seasons of learning and unlearning including my path through Chinese medicine, small moments that carry weight, questions I am still living with, and poetry from my heart.
Free subscribers will receive
The weekly or bi-weekly post, occasional shorter notes, and access to the archive of free writing.
Paid subscriptions
If and when I open a paid option, it will be additive. Not restrictive. The free writing will remain complete and worth reading. Paid support, if offered, will make room for longer pieces, occasional audio, and reflection prompts.
A small invitation
If you want, reply and tell me what season you are in right now. One sentence is enough.
If you would like to stay, subscribe so the weekly posts land in your inbox.
